President’s Message…

Congratulations and thanks to all Members who assisted with the 2005 Hamburg Swap Meet!  By all accounts this meet was a smashing success.  Tables again sold out, and the attendance by the public was up!  The kitchen did a booming business and the first attempt at an auction after the event made some additional money.  There was plenty to see and buy and almost everyone had a good time.  Thanks again and let's do even better next year!

The TCWS events of June 18th and 19th are shaping up, but we need all the Members to step up and assist in the set up on 17th and to help during the event, especially Saturday the 18th.  Jobs needed are to help Dale Loop with registration, inspection, and flight operations.  A transmitter impound person is needed, parking help and people to assist with raffles, 50-50 drawings etc.  The kitchen will be open all 3 days and see Jack Hilbert if you can help out.  This is our second and last fund raising event of the year and all Members should volunteer to help out!

We still have a large supply of the older sweatshirts and a small supply of older T-shirts available.  The new polo shirts and jackets that were purchased for sizing are now available for sale.  There is 1 each of small, medium, large, x-large, xx-large and xxx-large.  The polos are white with a navy logo.  Each garment will be sold with a $2.00 discount.  They can have the front logo and name added at additional charge.  Also additional garments can be ordered as required.  There will be order forms available in the TCWS kitchen.

Thanks to Dennis Christman for the repairs to the rear oil seals on the tractor.  Also thanks to the entire Building and Grounds committee for their work on the field this year.  The fertilizing and crabgrass preventer has been applied.  Also, the new refrigerator has been installed in the kitchen.

Flying season is here!  Let's all get out and enjoy the Summer!
