President’s Message…
December is here once
again! Cold weather, Christmas with
its celebrations and parties will dominate our thoughts in the next few weeks!
Before then however there are a few TCWS things that need our attention.
First, remember to renew your membership in both the AMA and TCWS before
it expires on December 31st! Renew
NOW and you won't pay the late fee! Second,
our annual Christmas Party will follow the next meeting on Sunday, December 18th
at 1:30 PM at the Moose Lodge on 4th St. in Hamburg. This party is FREE to all members and their
immediate family, so I'll see you there!
Christmas in the Air
will be held December 10th at the Reading Regional Airport.
Dale and Karen Loop will once again provide a display for TCWS at the
event. If you wish to participate
at the event contact Dale or Karen.
Don't forget the
January 1 Polar Bear fly at 10AM! We
will have hot drinks, and maybe light lunch available.
Come and participate in this annual event!
Our 2006 event
sanctions for the Swap Meet and the Giant Scale Fun Fly have been approved and
plans are going forward on both. Club
help is needed for both events, please contact the event coordinators to
volunteer time. These events are
the financial backbone of the club and everyone needs to pitch in to make them a
success!
Finally, make your
list for the man in the red suit and hope he brings you all you wish for this
Christmas!
This will be my last
President's Message and I wish to thank the membership for their help and
support during my tenure. I
sincerely appreciated it during the last year.
Thank you, John
