Old
Business
Under club apparel,
Dave Renninger handed out the new club jackets that were ordered. He also has more club hats that are available for
$5 each.
For the Swap Meet
work list, about 45% (or 90 tables) have been sold as of the February club meeting. Volunteers are still needed for the cash window
(scheduled to be handled by Dale Loop) and other positions.
The kitchen chairpersons are John and Debbie.
We need to take a look at having a take-charge person. The detail of obtaining the necessary supplies is
also an outstanding issue. A club table
chairperson is also required. We will provide
AMA and IMAA applications, club apparel, a 50/50 drawing, and raffle items.
The Fun-Fly
Sanction event is now IMAA and AMA approved. Please
see Walt Gladney if you are an IMAA-certified member.
TCWS Lease
Agreement The club lawyer (obtained thru Dave Renninger and Walt Gladney) has
reviewed the lease terms. A draft is to be
reviewed by the club and the Christmans prior to a signing.
New
Business
There is no new
business to report at this time.

Helpful Hints
Mufflers
Disassemble
the muffler from your glow engines and clean the threads on the bolt, nut and rear cone. Run a thin bead of JB Weld at the junction of the
muffler body and cone, attach, and bolt together adding lock washers and Blue Locktite. This procedure will keep it together. If the bolt is stripped, remove and replace with
a length of 4-40 threaded rod. You may have
to enlarge the hole a little, not a problem, just get a drill bit the same size and ream
the hole. Heat the two ends red hot with a
torch and quench immediately in cold water. This
will harden the threads. Use two lock nuts
and lock washers at each end. Trim the ends
of the rod.
