Next Meeting:
Thursday,
January 17th, 2002 @ 7:30 PM Hamburg Moose Lodge
Old
Business
Club hats have been
picked up and are available for $5 each. The
club jackets will be in around mid-January, about the time of the club meeting. Some people still have yet to pay for their order. See John Weidman for payment and pickup. Future orders can still be placed.
The second batch of
postcards has been sent out for the 2002 Swap Meet in Hamburg (about 400 total). As of December 20, about 30% have been sold. A review of the tasks of the meet will be reviewed
at the January meeting for those involved.
The TCWS website is
expanding. The January club newsletter is to
be featured on the site. The address is
www.tcws.org.
As for the Lebanon
show, we have the same tables as last year (H3 thru 8).
Tickets may be purchased prior to the event to avoid waiting and permit
early admission.
New
Business
The 1st
Annual New Years Day Fun-Fly is to be held on January 1, 2002. Pass along the word to generate interest for the
future years.
We have new
members. Please welcome Jack Travis and
Thomas Wasser to the club.
The first
installment of the 2002 TCWS lease agreement has been made to the Christmans. To make it official, an attorney will be reviewing
the new lease terms on behalf of the club.
The annual
Christmas social was held downstairs in the lodge. A
motion was made by Walt Gladney and seconded by Larry Smith for the club to pay the Moose
Lodge a donation on top of the cost of the social. Everybody had a good time.

Helpful Hints
Pins 'N Rivets
Cut short, straight pins resemble rivets or screws on larger models. A tiny spot of epoxy in the hole secures them. Hardware store 1/8-inch long escutcheon pins work fine, too.

If you have any
helpful hints you would like to share, please feel free to send them in for use in a
future newsletter.
